10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Automation, IIoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence and augmented reality – the next decade promises to be the digital revolution of the industrial world. Our challenge is integrating legacy systems and assets with new technologies to harness the explosion of data to drive new opportunities without risking existing operations. This keynote will cover the challenges of the digital revolution and best practices for establishing an enterprise data infrastructure to support your digital transformation as you invest in edge, enterprise and cloud technologies.
10:30 AM - 10:45 AM
This talk will show the transition to cloud and where Microsoft sees Cortana Analytics, what it is and where it is going, including the growth and interesting use cases. It will also cover the Azure and its roadmap, and importance of the partnership with OSIsoft.
10:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Water Supplies Department (WSD) had developed a pilot system in the 3rd quarter of 2017 to explore the feasibility and advantages of integrating various data sources, e.g. operational data from the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, data loggers in the distribution network and consumer water meters, on a single platform. This “source-to-meter” approach integrated various data for a more comprehensive analysis.  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for water supplies and energy management could be generated and displayed through the system in various forms, for example, on a web site, on a map and in an Excel spreadsheet. This pilot system helped present a more holistic view of water supplies network. It demonstrated the potential benefits and development of “source-to-meter” solution in the operation and management of the water supplies.
11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
OSIsoft technology continuously evolves to meet the needs of an ever-changing business landscape.  IoT devices, cloud services, and features of the PI System, enable enterprise operations to transform digitally. This presentation will review our plan for continuing to support your journey through a review of OSIsoft’s latest Engineering Roadmap.
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
How do you choose the right analytics platform for improving your operation?  This discussion will clarify these options by outlining the levels of analytics that are fit-for-purpose when using the PI System.  We will review scenarios that illustrate when is it appropriate to use PI AF and when you should consider advanced calculation tools like MATLAB.  Data science and machine learning can also play a role and the features of PI AF can greatly help in the data preparation, testing and operationalization of developed algorithms.
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

1:30 PM - 1:50 PM

IoT and Real time data have been the key technology driver for Smart City. Actually, majority of real time data from various IoT sensors will carry locations. In this talk, we will introduce ArcGIS GeoEvent Server which can track dynamic assets that are constantly changing location such as vehicles, aircraft, and vessels or stationary assets such as weather and environmental monitoring sensors. In addition, it provides real-time situational awareness for coordinated field activities. By integrating Esri and OSIsoft technologies, we can combine both time and space to give you greater insight into your assets and improved tools for systems management that deliver operational spatial intelligence.

1:50 PM - 2:20 PM
Enabling your enterprise to see the big picture is an important objective.  This demonstration will walk through an actual utility industry use case achieving this goal.  It will feature PI Vision, OSIsoft’s powerful, seamless and extensible product for establishing a unified visualization infrastructure.  Completing the picture, PI Vision’s integration with Esri ArcGIS was used to add geospatial context, giving this utility an intuitive, consistent view of their operation.
2:20 PM - 2:50 PM
PI AF is the heart of the PI System, providing essential asset context to operational measurement data.  Our demonstration continues with this behind-the-scenes look at how PI AF can support, at scale, self-service analysis of PI System data.   We will demonstrate how easily PI Analytics, Notifications and Event Frames can be configured, and how quickly they can be applied to all similar assets and processes within your enterprise.
2:50 PM - 3:40 PM
Transforming real-time data into a form that can be consumed by today’s advanced analytical tools can be a challenge.  This demonstration features the PI Integrator for Business Analytics (BA) and for Microsoft Azure.  We will explore several uses cases highlighting how the PI System Infrastructure provides a distinctive platform for supporting and operationalizing your advanced analytics efforts, making them relevant to Operations.  To help you get started, our Red Carpet Incubation Program (RCIP), a joint endeavor between OSIsoft and Microsoft will be introduced.
3:40 PM - 4:10 PM
