The Denver Oil & Gas Forum is Coming to You!

Denver Area PI System customers and prospects are invited to join OSIsoft for a morning of insights on how to better use operational data to drive business efficiencies, integrate with your business systems, and support a “layers of analytics” strategy from the edge to the cloud.

Industry experts from Noble Energy, DCP Midstream, and OSIsoft will share best practices for leveraging the “modern PI System” as an operational data integration, applications, and analytical infrastructure to provide self-serve access to contextualized operational intelligence.

The focus of the forum will be on:

  • Upstream unconventional O&G uses and best practices including drilling, completions, and production;
  • Midstream O&G including gathering, processing, and transmission;

Learn how industry leading PI System users are elevating their use of the PI System as a single or common operational data infrastructure for a strategic and foundational part of their digital transformation journeys increasing effective production, asset reliability and performance, decreasing their operational and maintenance (O&M), simplifying their applications and solutions portfolio, and enabling their employees to make better decisions.

Please stay for lunch & networking following the presentations.

OSIsoft: Reducing Deferment in Upstream Oil & Gas

aleel Petroleum is saving $1.4 million per year after they improved visibility into the operation of their beam pumps by analyzing DYNA card data in the OSIsoft PI System. RTO (Real-Time Operations) & Smart Fields Team Leader Muneer Al Balushi describe this and other initiatives such as virtual metering via modeling to complement their well testing and find hidden deferments and Exception Based Surveillance (EBS) to analyze their reactions to production anomalies.
