Rudy is responsible for the operational systems used by Network Operations, how they are configured, kept current and the documented processes governing their use within the business.

Rudy’s background is in ICT, primarily in the applications development space. After graduating from UWA with a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Sciences he was initially employed as a programmer creating database applications for clients. He worked for a range of ICT services organisations in Perth and, as he gained experience, was promoted into leadership and then management roles. He completed an MBA from UWA in 2009 and joined Western Power in Network Operations the same year. In the last 10 years he has grown and developed through several roles working to improve the business processes and operational systems that control and manage the electricity network.
