Your time is valuable, that is why OSIsoft is pleased to offer a collection of courses that provide the maximum impact for your investment of time. This year we are thrilled to collaborate with key partners to co-host Hands-on Learning Labs on their premises. On December 19th the labs will be hosted by Magion in Den Haag.
Our Hands-On Labs, brought straight to you from our PI World conferences, are designed to showcase the latest tools and technologies and help you achieve value from the PI System. Whether you want to learn how to effectively build displays using PI Vision 2018, need tips for deploying AF or want to drive initiatives such as Machine Learning, IoT or Data Science with the PI System, we have something to offer you. Our labs are run by experienced OSIsoft engineers who can share their experience while giving practical Hands-On access to our cloud Learning Environments.
Check out the agenda below and sign up for FREE while spots last! Course sizes are limited so don't delay!

PI 101 Introduction
Are you brand new to the PI System? An end user unsure of where your data comes from? A PI System administrator who needs to learn about new tools? Come to this session to find out what the PI System is all about, how the infrastructure can benefit your organization to deliver real value, and to see a high level demonstration of how customers work with our tools to gain insight into their processes. This session will give you the basics you need to understand many of the other labs that will be available throughout the day.

Fit for Purpose - Layers of Analytics using the PI System - AF, Machine Learning
This hands-on lab covers scenarios to illustrate the different levels of analytics that are fit-for-purpose when using the PI System. For example, what calculations and analyses do you do in AF? When do you call on “data science and machine learning ?” Use cases will include those focused on an equipment, such as a pump, motor or compressor, and those focused on a process. We will also cover examples of advanced analytics that are part of the data collection from the edge devices and contrast these with predictive analytics – both the model development and model deployment (scoring new incoming real-time data) and include cloud vs. fog vs. edge scenarios.

Introduction to Magion
Magion is a specialist in using Analytics in combination with the PI System. This presentation will give a brief overview of the company and gives some examples of analytics use cases. What can you achieve by using PI-AF in operational and maintenance environments? Our practical use cases are designed to make you start thinking about the possibilities for your own organization.

Advanced Analytics for PI data for Data Scientists
PI System is the standard time series data infrastructure across several industries. Decades of operational data collection has turned each PI System into a treasure trove for data scientists to extract knowledge. Come to this lab and learn, as a data scientist, how you can access, shape, and use PI data to generate insight and knowledge. A basic understanding of data science basics is required for this lab. No knowledge of PI System is necessary.
