Javier V. Goicochea is the section manager of the modeling group of Casale SA - Switzerland. The group forms part of the digital engineering department. Javier has actively participated in the development of data reconciliation tools used by Casale’s Remote Engineering Services (CARES). He has more than 20 years of experience in the development of numerical models for describing complex phenomena including heat transfer and mass transfer, transport in porous media, and thermodynamics for chemical process design. Javier holds a master’s degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Zulia (Venezuela) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (USA).
