Garth McDonald has worked as a technical leader for Operators and Vendors in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals production for almost 40 years around the world. Garth has many years of operational experiences in the control space and enterprise ICT in a wide range of enterprises. For the last 11 years, Garth has worked for Origin Energy building technology platforms from the ground up for the world class APLNG gas asset. Garth's current role involves integrating platforms and bespoke solutions within Origin's Integrated Gas to drive production uplift and safety and cost improvements. Garth’s particular interest is leveraging value from embedded technologies. When not doing this, Garth can be seen floating around Moreton Bay in his beloved Kayak.
