Thingworx & Caterpillar’s customers utilize high value, heavy duty assets which are mission critical. To address a goal of eliminating unplanned downtime, combined with goals of working to get to lowest total cost of ownership and assist customers to address compliance issues (internal and external), Caterpillar has developed an end to end system integration from data connectivity to actionable operational leveraging the OSIsoft PI System and Thingworx.
